Rafael Nadal, who's rumored to be considering an appearance in Kooyong (thanks Courtney!) to get in some matches after falling short in Doha, was spotted getting some treatment for a blister on his left hand at Melbourne Park.
It's nice to see those biceps make an appearance again, albeit in practice, but I hope the blisters doesn't become a problem in the next couple of weeks especially since it's on his dominant hitting hand. Something to watch out for Rafanatics.
Check out more practice pics below!

OH MY.
ReplyDelete*dreamy yet dirty grin*
Can I give him some, err, treatment?
WHY ARE YOU WEARING A SHIRT??!?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteWHYYYYYYYYYYYY GOD WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Rafa, bring back the sleeveless! The new polo shirt look makes him look boyish and I just doesn't look right on him!
ReplyDeleteHis biceps is so hot! Ditch the polo for your next match and show off your guns!!
ReplyDeleteOh, and yes:
THE SHIRT HAS GOT TO GO!!!! ASAP!
Two or three of his fingers on his left hand are ALWAYS taped (and sometimes sprayed and retaped when it's especially hot) during every practice session and every match, as a precaution against blisters. So, nothing new there.
ReplyDeleteHELL YES TO RAFARMS IN THEIR FULL GLORY!! LOVE THEM!! He should just practice in his panties - afterall, it's really hot out :D
ReplyDelete*faints from too many dirty thoughts at once*
And yeah, I agree with anon10:52 - his fingers are always taped. Now the severity of the blisters is up for debate but I'm not freaking out just yet :)
VAMOS HOTTIE!
*twitterpates*
ReplyDeleteWHA?! Sleeveless shirt again? How about shirtless? Yea, shirtless is better ^_^
ReplyDeleteI agree - his fingers are just about always taped and it's not a really big deal. And I wonder how many of those are blisters and how many are callouses.
ReplyDeleteUh...what Babz said.
ReplyDeleteYeah maybe he's doing a slow reveal: first the sleeves, then the shirt, then one leg of the shorts, then the other leg, then one Air Max Courtballistec, then the other Air Max Courtballistec, then one sock...
ReplyDelete*gets self overheated by image of single-socked rafa*
i...can't...cont...inue *faints*
Rich: the lone sock is on his foot, right? ;)
ReplyDeletejohanne: LMAO OTF!!! Good times!!!
ReplyDeletejohanne LOOOOOOL :)))) what a visualisation THAT was!
ReplyDeleteHAHAAHAHAHA why was I thinking of a sock looking like an elephant nose there??
ReplyDeleteI mean I'm guessing he'd need a big ol' thigh-high sock if it was for Red Hot Chili Peppers-esque purposes ;)
ReplyDelete*almost ashamed of increasingly inappropriate comments. ALMOST*
*rolls*
ReplyDeletei love this place.
Yeah, slow reveal for Rafa. tomorrow, shirtless. *crosses fingers*
I wonder if the blisters are caused by him practising his new style of forehand? Maybe pressure of grip is slightly different or something like that?
ReplyDeleteGod, those ARMS.
*squirms*
ReplyDelete*twitterpates more*
*waits for more Rafa photos*
*reconsiders*
*waits for Rafa and Ross naked doubles photos*
*reconsiders*
*flies to Melbourne, goes to practice court, takes off clothes, oils up, waits*
*joins natch at oily practice court and waits for Rafa and Nole*
ReplyDeleteMan, I really hope this is the right court and not, like, Stepanek's practice court. *shudders in disgust*
OK, better thoughts: OILY RAFA. OILY RAFA. OILY RAFA.
droooooooool
