Quote of the Day: Tignor on Rafa + Nole

For the first time this week, I could see that the Olympics had upped the passions of both players. Finally, the sport seemed to belong at the Games—seeing Nadal and Djokovic referred to as Serbia and Spain on the scoreboard made tennis, at least temporarily, about more than individual glory.

  1. Tignor's an idiot. What did he think was going to happen? It's Fed Cup but even more intense. Seriously. Idiot.

  2. Totally. What about Gonzo weeping after the Blake match (in victory) or Roger leaping five feet in the air after he and Stan took out the Bryans? Or the France/Sweden dubs match that went almost 5 hours?

Whatevs Tignor - glad you finally took the time to watch some tennis.
