Here's a look back at Rafael Nadal's extraordinary 6-4, 6-4, 6-7(5), 6-7(8), 9-7 win over Roger Federer at Wimbledon.
"Is unbelievable for me have a title here in Wimbledon. Is probably -- well, is a dream. I always, when I was a kid, I dream for play here, but for win is amazing, no? For any Spanish player win here is unbelievable. For every player, no, but for the Spanish especially, because we don't have a lot of titles here, and have one is unbelievable."

gorgeous! just gorgeous!
ReplyDeletegeez..all the stories today at work about how all the females in the house were cheering for rafa (ages 12 to 75...no joke, it was a colleagues' grandmother)...and the males who felt they needed to cheer for roger to 'even things out'!
All Rafa needs is two GS per year for 5 years. Let's exclude AO and USO. He's beat Sampras.
ReplyDeleteThere are still no words for how joyous this all feels. I'm so happy he's taking two weeks off to heal up and enjoy himself!!!!!!!
