TENNIS.com is giving us a look into some of Jelena Jankovic's workouts with famed strength + conditioning coach Pat Etcheberry.
Though JJ's recent off-season training intensive has many wondering if she's been overcooked (hence the shaky results recently), it can never hurt to be in the best shape possible for the long tennis season. Plus, you can't argue with THAT bod. Damn.
But one question: did poor, neglected Right Side get as much workout as Left Side even though we can't see it? Maybe she's secretly lopsided. So many theories, so little time...

Right side STILL missing!
ReplyDeleteVanity, thy name is JJ.
She irritates me so much, but she's got a great body. Missing right side and all.
ReplyDeleteNot many people can smile during a workout like this, though. Love her, right side or not.
ReplyDeleteI suppose it's just a matter of the timing of the photo (maybe they are misleading?), but I've always been taught to keep your elbows at your ears (and no further forward) when doing any sort of crunches. That first picture on the ball just looks so wrong to me. It looks like she's cheating, which is just so wrong to even think with that body.
ReplyDeleteI'm worried about Right Side - lonely in this big world. She needs some love and attention too (if she really exists that is.)
ReplyDelete*retains search party*
now onto the workout: natch, it would be really, really challenging to keep your elbows at your ears while doing crunches. i just tried it and damn that's tough!
Gosh, I feel like we should play "Where in the World is JJ's Right Side?"

ReplyDeleteThat's why you do it--because it's tough. I think there's some reasoning behind the muscles it works, too. I was taught that in my 20's, and I continue it to this day. Actually, I was yelled at in my 20's and told that only (deleted expletive)'s have to move their elbows! Talk about tough love.
Alright, carry on with your search! :D
she only shows it europe, the only place where the tournaments count (according to her manager). they showed her right side on the cover of ACE tennis magazine (UK) last month. usually can find it at barnes and noble.
ReplyDeleteDoes this count?

I think this will do it though:

anon 6:49 - LMAO are you serious?! You're telling me her right side is "reserved for Europe" so the rest of us only get to see her left side??
ReplyDelete*goes speechless*
holy $h!t, no effin' right side. seriously, she's got some issues w/half of her body. i don't think it's farfetched to say that she probably requested to be taken from only the left side.
ReplyDeleteRich, you've posted about "no right side" before. and i only noticed when you mentioned it, which from what I remember was a couple weeks ago. Now I wonder how long this has been going on...
sara, the 1st barely counts but the 2nd! OMgosh Britney!! thats a rihgt side if i ever saw one!!
ReplyDeletelets stare at it since we will never see it again.
