Maria Sharapova's attempt at becoming a high-fashion supermodel continues in this month's Russian Vogue.
The 3-time Grand Slammer was shot working a couple of fur coats and a strange triple-tiered fur skirt thing. Ick.
Oh boy Shrieka. Granted its Russian Vogue and maybe the world won't catch on, but if the fur is real you better watch your back for raining red paint.
And word to her furry doggie Dolce: you may want to watch yours too...

I don't know about everyone else but i think Shrieka looks high fashion here.I especially love the last picture.
ReplyDeleteNow if only 'someone' would take tips.
At least "someone" doesn't wear dead animals...
ReplyDeleteTrue, Maria looks like a real high-fashion model here, it's just bad taste IMO.
Or did her folks told her to do it and she couldn't do anything about it? Don't think so!
I find it disgusting. I am not a red paint thrower, but she should have to watch how that fur is made. I have no objections to her wearing fur if she watches the process.
ReplyDeleteI hate to confess it, but I really think Shrieka could make it as a high-fashion model. She's insanely tall, insanely thin and her face is pretty, yet average.
ReplyDeleteThe fur is controversial, though. But I guess if it's in Russian Vogue, it addresses the right trget audience... LOL
"target" I meant.
ReplyDeleteOh, please. Do you eat meat? Do you watch how it is produced?
ReplyDeleteNo, anon. I don't eat meat or any animal by-products.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to disagree w/ me, you have every right to do so. I stated my opinion, you are free to state yours.
She should stick to modeling and leave the tennis world alone. My ears would be all the better for it.
ReplyDeletetwo thumbs down on the fur.
@ Maja : That 'someone' eats meat.
ReplyDeleteAs a model, she is a great tennis player. She's the female version of Zoolander. But I agree with Barcelona, I wish she would stick to modeling and leave tennis alone.
ReplyDeleteI add other two thumbs down on the fur.
Masha looks great, the fur is kinda uhm yeah.... but what I don't understand is why people say she should leave tennis alone? She's an awesome competitor and brings some excitement to the game. I for one am looking forward seeing her back on court again.
ReplyDeleteSo eating meat is as bad as wearing fur now?
ReplyDeleteSharapova clubs baby seals in her spare time!!!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm ignorant but who says it's real fur?
