Full disclosure: The New York Times is reporting that Roger Federer has been dealing with the effects of mononucleosis, an energy-sapping virus. He was diagnosed in February and was told he may have had the virus since December 2007.
According to the report Federer only disclosed the illness now "because he did not want to detract from victories by Djokovic or Murray."
