Maria Sharapova towers over Floyd Mayweather at the ESPY Awards

GIF: Maria Sharapova boxes out Floyd Mayweather, then leans o... on Twitpic
No one upstages Maria Sharapova. Unless you're Floyd Mayweather.

The diminutive boxer was given the royal treatment during his introduction at last night's ESPYs by host Drake, including a rolled out red carpet. But the Russian was having none of it. She walked out in front of Mayweather, took over the podium, and then asked, "Wow, where was my introduction?" Maria then used the 5' 6" boxer to prop herself up. Drake isn't making many friends in tennis.

Sharapova won for Best Female Tennis Player and Rafael Nadal picked up the ESPY for Best Male Tennis Player.

Grigor Dimitrov and Sloane Stephens attended the show along with Maria.

We even got a peek into the shoe collection the 5-time Grand Slammer got to choose from for the night's festivities.

And, an awards show wouldn't be complete without some selfies, right?

PHOTO OP: Brooklyn Decker does the ESPYS, keeps Don Draper at bay

In my never ending quest to be an equal opportunity objectifier I bring you Brooklyn Decker from last night's ESPYS, wearing a pink paint-me-awn dress that showed off every curve she knew she had and some new ones for your viewing pleasure.

The tennis WAG was sans hubby, Andy Roddick, for the evening but friend and former baller Justin Gimelstob was on hand for the tough escorting duty and we all know how much Gimel loves sexy blondes:

Later in the evening Brook tweeted backstage that she "shaking" and "dabbing sweat" as she prepared to present the award for Best Play (won by QB Brett Favre + receiver Greg Lewis of the Minnesota Vikings.) Do you think it was because she was about to go onstage with her handsome, smoldering co-presenter Jon Hamm? I mean, if anyone could make you feel safe and secure it's got to be Don Draper:

"Hands off, D."

Uh, on second thought...

More pictures of Brook after the cut.

ISNUT wins for Best Record-Breaking Performance at ESPYS

John Isner was on hand last night at the 2010 ESPYS to receive one of the big awards - Best Record-Breaking Performance - for playing the longest match in tennis history a.k.a. ISNUT.

After realizing the on stage mic only reached his belly button he bent down and thanked his foe, Nicolas Mahut, who wasn't in attendance, his support team at Saddlebrook Academy and the voters. The pair beat out Roger Federer who was nominated in the same category for breaking Pete Sampras' all-time Grand Slam record at Wimbledon last season.

It would've been great to see both ballers there to accept the award. I wonder if Nic was asked to attend at all and, if so, declined the offer. He really deserves some of the accolades too.

In any case, a big congrats to ISNUT!

Other winners of the night included Serena Williams for Best Female Tennis Player and Kim Clijsters for Best Comeback.

FASHION FIX: The latest styles of Andy Roddick

It seems cutie Andy "A-Rod" Roddick isn't one to miss a good party, either. After being sensationally ousted from Wimbledon by Frenchie Richard Gasquet in one of the marquee matches of the tournament, A-Rod followed the lead of Serena Williams and Maria "Shriek"apova and hit the LA party circuit. He stopped by The ESPYS last week and then joined Maria to bowl for charity at Matt Leinart's 1st annual Bowling With the Stars, sporting new threads along the way.

On-court A-Rod is always working French label Lacoste, his clothing sponsor, but off-court he goes effortlessly from casual to classy. Let's take a look...

(edit: A-Rod is holding up a t-shirt by a brand called Smet on the far left. Anyone have any info on them?)

FASHION FIX: Serena Williams at the Louis Vuitton & Details party in LA

After her disappointing, injury-plagued exit from Wimbledon, Serena "ReRe" Williams followed Maria "Shriek"apova's lead and hit the Hollywood party scene.

First up were The ESPYS. Always one to "shock & awe" with her fashion (catsuit anyone?) ReRe hit the red carpet looking suprisingly, um, virginal. Next was the Louis Vuitton & Details magazine "Sunset on the Rooftop" party on July 12. The look: a simple, black and white floral printed frock, gold hoop earrings, and strappy black heels (pictured with R&B singer Robin Thicke.)

The jury is out on ReRe's latest fashion choices. Tell us what you think.

THE LOW DOWN: Does Maria Sharapova have a new admirer?

The Down the Line! rumor mill is buzzing with the latest gossip surrounding tennis' current glamourpuss Russian World No. 2 Maria "Shriek"apova.

Maria has been keeping herself busy post-Wimbledon. For the 2007 ESPY's, she hit the party circuit in Hollywood, channeled Xena, the Warrior Princess on the red carpet, and took home 2 awards - Best International Female Athlete and Best Female Tennis Player. Finally, Maria attended Arizona Cardinals quarterback, and Hollywood playboy, Matt Leinart's 1st annual Bowling With the Stars charity event at Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood this weekend (pictured here with Maria.) Leinart has been linked with everyone from Britney Spears and Paris Hilton to actress Scarlett Johansson. He's also fathered a son, Cole, with USC women's basketball player Brynn Cameron.

Word is spreading that Leinart is targeting Maria as his latest conquest.

Watch out Maria - this guy definitely knows how to play the field.

VOTE: Who was BEST DRESSED at The ESPY's, Serena or Maria?

Who was BEST DRESSED at The ESPY'S this week:

Serena Williams or Maria Sharapova?

Fashion Fix: Maria Sharapova works the red carpet at The ESPY's

Maria "Shrieka"pova went from virgin to vixen for The ESPY's this week. At The ESPY's 'Extreme' pre-party the night before at The Roosevelt Hotel, Maria continued her Wimbledon moment by looking delicate and demure.

But, as if deciding to leave those disappointing Wimby memories in the dust, she rocked the red carpet, busting out a body-hugging leather dress featuring a corset-style bodice with gold chain straps. She rounded out her look with severe black patent leather stilletos.

So much for Swan-Lake.

Oh - she also won an ESPY for "Best International Female Athlete."

Work it out, Shrieka.

Fashion Fix: Serena Williams working The ESPY'S red carpet

Always one for grabbing attention, Serena "ReRe" Williams has swiftly moved past her disappointing loss to Justine Henin, and injuries to her calf and left hand, at Wimbledon last week.

ReRe made a grand entrance on The ESPY's red carpet tonight, looking quite regal in her cream spaghetti-strap dress with empire waist (empire waists must be a theme - Maria Shriekapova was working the same style at The ESPY's pre-party the night before.)

The headband is an elegant touch. But can we talk about the bling? The diamond-laced bracelet and strappy heels hit a hight mark.

It's good to see she's putting that injured left hand to use now that she's pulled out of this weekend's Fed Cup semifinal against Russia and next week's The Western & Financial Open.

(Note: ReRe Williams is up for 2 awards: "Best Championship Performance" and "Best Female Tennis Player." The ESPY's will be televised on Sunday, July16.)

Fashion Fix: Maria Sharapova at The ESPY's 'Extreme' Pre Party

Maria Shriekapova attended The ESPY's 'Extreme' pre-party at The Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA on July 10th. Maria is pictured with actress Camilla Belle (center), who starred in the remake of "When a Stranger Calls" and "The Ballad of Jack and Rose."

Moving on from her on-court fashions (who will forget the Swan-Lake dress from Wimbledon) Maria looks stunning in her champagne tiered tank dress with a ribboned empire waist and black clutch.

Maria is up for 2 awards: 'Best International Female Athlete' and 'Best Female Tennis Player.' The ESPY's will be televised on Sunday, July 16th on ESPN.

The Roosevelt Hotel was the birthplace of the Oscars and was the playground of Hollywood luminaries including Clark Gable, Carole Lombard and Marilyn Monroe. Click here for more information on this landmark.
