SIGHTING: Becks + Brooklyn at Wimbledon

A suit-clad David Beckham was spotted with his son, Brooklyn, watching Andy Murray fall to Rafael Nadal in the Wimbledon semifinals today.

Becks + Muzz are both represented by American/Pop Idol creator Simon Fuller's 19 Entertainment and are, apparently, texting buddies.

He looks equally as good with his clothes on as he does off, no? I'm thinking he inspired Muzz to do the same, though not exactly with the same desired result.

(UPDATED) PHOTO OP: Sexy Spanish MF's (well, mostly)

"I'm sexy too, no?"

The champion Davis Cup team along with compatriot Tommy Robredo grabbed a gussied up photo op with Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero and the cup during an official reception at the Moncloa presidential palace in Madrid today.

Oh PM how jelly I am of your position in that photo. I'd gladly be sandwiched between all that pretty chorizo.

So who's bringing the most HAWTNESS here peeps? I, for one, am loving Tommy's suit + scarf moment. But as always, there's too much clothing in the way for my tastes.

UPDATE: Ooh, better pic here including coach Albert Costa and the epically drool-worthy Juan Carlos Ferrero.

PHOTO OP: Becks gives Wozzi a hand

So not only does Caroline Wozniacki now get to be the only lady baller to officially wear adidas by Stella McCartney on the WTA tour but the Dane got to meet none other than David Beckham, who is also sponsored by adidas, while in LA for the Women's Tennis Championships.

It's either me or the pic's perspective but Wozzi's making Becks actually look, eh, human size. Slight even. Who said the footballer is larger than life?

+ THURSDAY NETCORDS: Jelena, Boris, A-Rod, Venus vs. Serena...Sania makes amends, Becks makes us cry and more

- End of the road? What are Venus & Serena Williams' chances at next month's Australian Open? Franklin L. Johnson for tennisweek.com says, "Is this the last major hurrah for the Williams sisters? These extraordinary athletes have been around so long many of us take them for granted. But, nothing lasts forever, including the legendary careers of Venus and Serena." But before calling it a day on their careers, let's take a trip back to the early Williams' days courtesy of Women's Tennis Blog.

- And she acts, too: Serbian Shank Award recipient Jelena Jankovic will co-star with "Hairspray" star Brittany Snow in a new, original Reebok Entertainment-produced TV show titled "Framed" that will debut Friday night on the IFC channel.

- Self-promoter: Bellezza at All About Becker found the former Wimbledon champ pimping his own clothing line. We suppose someone has to wear it.

- Get all the dirt and details on the ASB Classic and Heineken Open with R.C. French and tennis blog Yellowballin' (we're loving that name).

- Indian sensation Sania Mirza was busted for shooting an ad in the premises of a mosque in her hometown Hyderabad and then later apologized saying, "I would like to apologise to all my brothers and sisters and respected elders who are anguished by my unwittingly entering a portion of the land belonging to Mecca Masjid." The assistant police commissioner accepted the apology saying, "The girl has sent an e-mail saying sorry and her mother also went to the mosque and has given a letter." The 'girl'? How dismissive of them.

- Wishful thinking: Sports Central released the Annual Tennis Holiday Wish List. Their biggest instance of wishful thinking? "4. A grand slam sweep for Maria Sharapova. She proved to be a true professional this year, and the world can use a few more of those. Maybe the holiday season will provide her with enough magic to win all four big ones in the same year, as well." We don't think so (see comments - we even told them so!)

- The end of the tennis year wouldn't be complete without Sports Illustrated's Jon Wertheim and his Baggie Awards.

- Some kinda threesome: It's all love, love, love for Chris Evert, Greg Norman, and some guy at NBC Sports.

- Speaking of love...Though his love life seems to be in order, Gasquet & Racquet fears for Andy Roddick's professional one and offers some analysis on the former US Open champ.

OFF TOPIC ALERT: David Beckham for Emporio Armani Underwear - holy crap.

Royal makeover: Roger Federer plays King Arthur for Disney

A king is crowned: Gay news blog Towleroad is reporting that Disney Parks has released new images from the latest Disney Dreams portrait series. Tennis World No. 1 Roger Federer takes his turn as King Arthur in the latest images shot by famed photog Annie Leibowitz.

Towleroad also reminded us that soccer star David Beckham played Prince Charming in last year's series.

Actresses Julie Andrews and Rachel Weisz join Fed in the series as Pinocchio's Blue Fairy and Snow White, respectively.

Here's a behind-the-scenes shot of Fed (working some serious hair) playing King Arthur:

Calling on David Beckham: A hairy situation on the men's tennis tour

The tennis news is few and far between these days. The players, both men and women, are fine tuning their hardcourt games for the final Grand Slam of the year, the US Open. A win, or at the very least a good showing, could salvage a player's entire year (are you listening Andy Roddick & James Blake?)

With this free time, I've had a chance to notice a very disturbing, and growing, trend on the men's tour: offensive, unforgiveable hair. And not just bad haircuts but haircuts seemingly grown that way on purpose.

I've pictured a few of the worst offenders here: David Ferrer (Spain - above left), Jose Acasuso (Argentina - above right), Igor Andreev (Russia - below left), Nicolas Lapentti (Ecuador - below middle), and Sergio Roitman (Argentina - below right).

When looking for great hair inspiration, these players need not look any further than new Hollywood transplant, and hair-enthusiast, David Beckham. He has worked every hairstyle known to a man - see for yourself:

If there's one thing Becks can teach these men it's this: it's not the hair...it's how you wear it.

+ FRIDAY NETCORDS: FED CUP, Ana, Marat, The Beckhams, & more

- FED CUP update: Semifinal play begins this weekend with defending champs Italy taking on France, while a U.S. takes on Russia on U.S. turf. tennisreporters.net's Matt Cronin reports on the continuing drama of FED CUP 2007.

- Serbian Ana Ivanovic is named "Sexiest Player at Wimbledon" by British tabloid The Sun, reports her website.

- Merry go 'round: 2-time Grand Slam champion Marat Safin has hooked up with Argentinian Hernan Gumy as his latest coach.

- Shhhhh! Kim Clijsters secretly married her American fiance Brian Lynch today at an early morning civil ceremony.

- OFF TOPIC ALERT: The Becks, David & Posh of course, have officially landed in the U.S. What we can't get over is their photospread in the newest W magazine, ouch...
