PHOTO OP: The capri pants strike back

Rafael Nadal will battle nemesis David Nalbandian in a hugely-anticipated fourth round match at Indian Wells tonight. The world's top baller has yet to win a set against the Argentine in two career meetings. Ca-razy.

Ahhh - those capri pants bring back some fond memories. I miss thee.

See more of Rafa's practice session here.

  1. He's so smiley in those pics!! YUM!!

I'm really looking forward to tonight's match. Should be a good one, unlike that snoozefest with Tursunov :)

Also, I'm totally loving all the Nike tees that both Rafa and Roger have been sportin' lately. Fun color combos and just simple, classic design. Dig.

  2. Yeah Johanne those pics were really good. This one caught my eye because we haven't seen this style in a while and it brought back memories.

Tonight's match should be pretty intense and you know Rafa will want to finally put a win on Nalby. But Nalby is tough for anyone when he's on so it's the result is not so clear.

    Can't wait!

  3. Dear Rich, since we are talking about clothes here, Wawrinka seems to have switch from adidas to lacoste. Wonder when that happened?

    Pretty quiet switch.

  6. Given that both loses came in quick succession when Nalby was very on form (winning his sole 2 MS titles) and Rafa was very off form (late-2007 knee crapout period), I'm not sure that their H2H is really representative of what tonights game could potentially be. Not to mention Rafas dramatic improvement over the last year.

On the other hand, Rafa's been serving like crap this tourney...
