Here's an interview Roger Federer did with CNBC's Darren Rovell at the Nike event in NYC yesterday.
He talks about his effortless on-court style, sponsorships, Tiger Woods and of course his new fashion for the US Open. He even mentions how he likes the shadow dot design on his new Men's Fall Open Polo because it was inspired by the NYC subways which he says he "sometimes takes to the Open."
Really Rog? Somehow I doubt that, but whatevs.

"New guys coming up, like Del Potro... or Nadal" ROFL
ReplyDeleteLOL I'm going to sincerely doubt he hops on the 7. I'd take a tournament car over that bumpy ride any day.
ReplyDeleteI'll be heading over there via the 7 train too, so I can let you know if there is a Roger siting... Though I highly doubt it.
ReplyDeleteI think he said, "I sometimes used to take."
ReplyDeleteAnd he robs unsuspecting teenagers of iPods in the dark underground!
ReplyDeletePfff! That is pretty funny that he referred to Rafa as a "new guy." Oh Roger...
ReplyDeleteHeh, Roger did sound kind of dumb by saying Nadal was a new guy - but I'm pretty sure he was catering to the very casual tennis fan crowd whose years might perk up when they hear a possibly familiar name. Also may have mixed new/young.
ReplyDeleteI just heard that Nadal's yellow shirts with black dots is supposedly inspired by NYC cabs. And Fed is a subway train? This is ridonculous. And man is this post already far down..
