Here's a first look at the Frank Gehry-designed Tiffany & Co. earrings Maria Sharapova will be wearing as she goes for a second US Open championship and fourth career major.
According to her site the earrings, part of the Tiffany for Maria Sharapova collection, are "named Stria for its fine corrugated texture, the double-drop design has a kinetic energy that complements Maria's powerful playing style."
Shrieka visited the world-renowned architect in his California studio to learn about his inspiration for the design - think river or a waterfall. "The earrings have a distinctive shape that is like the fluid lines of Frank Gehry's architecture. I am thrilled to wear these elegant earrings at the US Open," said the 22-year old.
The Tiffany for Maria Sharapova collection features all the styles Shrieka has worn at each of the Grand Slams. The Frank Gehry® Stria earrings are available online and at select Tiffany stores.

Who ever made the first photo needs to be fired! This pic looks more like an Acuvue ad for yellow contacts, than a shot that's supposed to highlight the earrings she's wearing...
ReplyDeleteThe earrings look great, though! But what I'm more interested in are her dresses! Last year's stuff was fab! Too bad she didn't get to wear it.

ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm sure she said exactly that. Allez up your fuckin' ass!
