Maria Sharapova is still making the party and promo rounds in Miami even though she's not competing at the Sony Ericsson Open.
The Russian glamazon took part in a personal appearance at the Cole Haan store as part of a media and marketing blitz for the collection of accessories she and the Nike subsidiary collaborated on recently. The full collection is slated to debut in the fall.
I know most of you absolutely HATED her outfit from the SEO Baller Party (something about "M.C. Hammer" and "shit") but you have to admit Shrieka looks absolutely gorgeous here in this ensemble and fly-away hair.

I just don't like this woman, she's cold as ice.

LOVE those shoes - they are BANGIN'
ReplyDeleteBut those shorts! Skort/kulat (sp???) type shorts are NEVER acceptable. Ewwwww, no, NEVER!!!
-Tin
AHHH I want her shoes!! Mash def looks hot...I have no problem with her outfit, she's working it.
ReplyDeleteTin: Please don't say skorts - I LOATHE skorts. I convinced myself it was a deep center pleat on that skirt. I'm sticking to it.
ReplyDeletejohanne: I agree HAWTNESS for the ice queen. I def know I love something if I want to own it, wear it, or be it. I so wanted to be Shrieka for a second there - then I knew it was love.
What exactly is she standing next to in the last picture? It kind of looks like a boat to me so I feel like she should be smashing a champagne bottle against her huge face. If she doesn't want to do it I'm sure Sharon would do it for her LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm not convinced it's a pleat. She looks great from the waist up and the knees down. The shorts look like she stole them from a basketball player 9 times her size.
ReplyDeleteAll right rich, I'll go w/deep center pleat, just this once for you :)
ReplyDeleteBut, if she keeps throwin' back to the 80s (the S word and all), no more slack for Shrieka!
-Tin
sara: ROFL! Sharon def gets first dibs at smashing Shrieka's mug. Who's second?
ReplyDeletenarik/Tin: Phew - it was either a pleat or camel toe for me. I'm SO glad it was the former.
*wipes sweat from brow*
camel toe...BWHA!! Richie, have I told you how much I missed you lately? I really could have used you as we were shoving ourselves into our wetsuits.
ReplyDeletenatch: oh fun! use away.
ReplyDeleteSara, I'll certainly would! LOL

Ok, I'm convinced Rich just misses Maria. She can be quite the fashionista, but you can't rave about the misses and this was a miss from the ankles up. lol
ReplyDeleteThe shoes are just gorgeous!!
And once again - ugh. Just no!
ReplyDeleteIt's been like "opposite day" for years now in terms of fashions and so-called fashion icons/fashionistas many of whom cannot dress to suit their body types and complexions and just look horrendous. (i.e. Maria Sharapova who, like Ivanovic has little basic dress sense, let alone real personal style!)
More often than not, Maria's tendency towards the old and the dowdy, coupled with that lank stringy hair looks terrible to me. I guess I must be seeing something or someone else entirely different...
