PHOTO OP: Djokovic does Vogue

Perhaps Anna Wintour preferred Novak Djokovic in a speedo over Roger Federer. Good call.

One more shot of Nole after the jump.

PHOTO OP: Andy Murray does Vogue

"'The stuff was really nice. Really, really nice.' I urge him to expand on 'nice'—like, what was nice about the tux he’d had on? He says it had a darker stripe down the side of the leg."

Andy Murray, looking hella handsome in Burberry, is featured in the September issue of Vogue.

Photos shot by Mario Testino.

MEDIA MASHUP: NaturAna LOVES being in her 20's - what the hell does she know?

Ana Ivanovic, who's playing WAG Wars with Chrissy Evert this week, is featured in the Vogue's August book "The Age Issue" representing the 20-somethings in the world (well, only the beautiful athletic millionairesses of the world - not you humans.)

Is it me or does the slumping Serb looking kinda mannish above? *shivers*

In this behind-the-scenes video from the shoot, NaturAna tells the mag the 20's are "the best age to be." Say what?! Well, I guess you'd say that if you've only reached age 21 and you have the world (and Hottie Scottie) at your fingertips. Must be nice.

And, NO, I'm not jealous. Fine, maybe a little.

*wears sad face*

SIGHTING: Shrieka gets dressy, attends CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event in New York

Maria Sharapova, who was spotted with her handlers headed for Barneys yesterday in New York, attended the 5th anniversary of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund at Skylight Studios last night.

The Russian was one of many celebrities at the event including Oscar-winner Charlize Theron; Gossip Girl's Blake Lively + Penn Badgeley; designers Zac Posen, Vera Wang + Diane Von Furstenberg; and of course Vogue editrix Anna Wintour.

Obviously the chocolate duel-tiered minidress and strappy stilettos are a huge improvement over her casual wear during yesterday's jaunt around The Big Apple.

Shrieka
sure does dress up well when she wants to!

Ana Ivanovic talks shopping with Teen Vogue, becomes fashion victim

Though she endured a humbling loss to Frenchie Tatiana Golovin at the Zurich Open this week, Ana Ivanovic is continuing her Global Domination Tour in the media. The World No. 4's most recent stop was the US offices of Teen Vogue, baby sister to the Anna Wintour-helmed Vogue.

According to the "Beauty Blogger" feature, tennis matches aren't the only things the Serbian beauty is losing these days:

"The world is Ana Ivanovic’s oyster...She loves to shop, even if her last spree literally made her a fashion victim. 'I bought a Louis Vuitton dress with some of my winnings [from the French Open] — it got stolen a week later on a trip to Barcelona!!' she says."

Now that's not very nice. A girl's gotta have her LV moment - damn you thieves! (via anaivanovic.com)

THE LOW DOWN: Anna Wintour hearts Federer big time, becomes his personal stylist

Vogue fashionatrix Anna Wintour's obsession with Roger Federer continues to astound. Wonder how the World No. 1 stays looking so fashionably styled? According to gossip monger Page Six, Anna has become Fed's personal stylist. "Anna sends stuff to Federer with little notes that say 'This would look great on you,' " according to an insider. A Vogue rep pushed back saying, "Vogue certainly helps a number of people with fashion, but Roger's style is all his own."

However, New York magazine had a different take. Daily Intelligencer had this to say about the Men's Vogue cover shoot featuring the stylish Swiss: "Wintour draped Federer in over $4,000 worth of Prada, $2,500 worth of Gucci, $1,500 worth of Dolce & Gabbana and Michael Kors, and $2,500 worth of Dior Homme. Since much of that shoot took place at sea or on the beach, it wouldn't be outrageous if some of the clothes didn't get returned to the designers."

Having worked in the fashion business we know how beautiful, expensive things tend to "disappear." We guess it always helps to have a fashion cougar in your back pocket. But what we want to know is: what does Mirka, Fed's longtime girlfriend, think of all this attention?

Ana Ivanovic gives it up for Vogue & Men's Vogue

More Serbian news: Like hottie Novak Djokovic, Ana Ivanovic is not opposed to showing off her goods. But she's decided to give it up to Vogue and Men's Vogue this month, continuing her Global Domination Tour in style. Here's a look at the Vogue spread "mighty aphrodite".

Men's Vogue interviewed Ana for the "courtly behaviour" piece during Wimbledon, where she reached the semifinals. We think she looks gorgeous in the Stella McCartney dress and Christian Louboutin mary-janes. For more of the interview, click here.

Wimbledon in Vogue

Okay, one more fashion nugget I couldn't resist:

No doubt chiming in on the latest in the tennis fashion debate, Vogue head honcho Anna Wintour gets some rays while watching Roger Federer battle Marat Safin today. Do you think she consulted with ESPN's Bonnie DeSimone on her take on this year's fashion?

Sunglasses or not, we'd recognize the hard-bob haircut anywhere.
