Andy Roddick and Team USA are taking on Team Spain in a highly anticipated Davis Cup tie this weekend. As I type this post, Feliciano Lopez just beat Mardy Fish in an epic match going the distance with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, 6-7(2), 8-6 win and using, of all things, a backhand passing shot on match point. That thing's been working all summer long. Who knew? Anyway, it looked like Mardy was pressing a bit too much towards the end and even through in a double fault in the final game.
So A-Rod must save the day in front of his home crowd against the relentless David Ferrer. No pressure.
